It is quickly and easily mounted on ceilings or walls, and supports Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) reducing installation costs by powering the camera over the network. With progressive scan and 30 frames per second in VGA resolution, this indoor camera delivers crisp images for high-performance monitoring. AXIS 209FD-R/209MFD-R are designed to withstand the tough and changing conditions in a bus or train. They have

these conditions without premature wear and tear. The rugged design is built to handle the vibrations and dust typically found in mass transit vehicles. The small built-in heater takes care of any moisture and thereby eliminates condensation on the lens or cover.

AXIS 209FD-R/209MFD-R feature an active tampering alarm, an intelligent feature incorporated in the camera, further
strengthening the benefits of digital IP-based video. The tampering alarm detects if AXIS 209FD-R/209MFD-R are
blocked, spray-painted or moved.
