Geovision GV-VD8700 8MP Face Recognition Dome Camera
This camera uses a range of features to provide excellent image quality day and night: backlight compensation, wide dynamic range, defog with the ability to adjust brightness, contrast, saturation and more. It also uses a range of video analytics including motion detection, tampering alarm, face detection and face recognition.
The built in facial recognition technology allows users to identify personnel from a database remotely. 10,000 face profiles can be defined within the database and can be useful for corporate, customer service or security needs. The mechanism is effective up to 4m away and can identify up to 10 people simultaneously.
The GV-VD8700 supports on board storage and uses H.265 compression to provide excellent savings on storage and bandwidth usage. It can be powered by PoE or a 12VDC power supply and remote access is possible through the GV-EYE app or through internet explorer.
