Vivotek MD8564-EH 2MP Mobile Dome Network Camera
The Vivotek MD8564-EH is a 2MP fixed focal mobile dome camera with 1/2.7" progressive CMOS chip and a focal length of 6mm.
Due to the design of the camera being specifically to be mounted onto the exterior of a vehicle, it allows for great features such as fast AE for quick adaptation to light changes and wide dynamic range (WDR) pro for visibility in high contrast environments.
The MD8564-EH comes with smart stream III, which reduces the amount of bandwidth and storage consumed by up to 50% although still giving high standards of image quality. It also comes with H.264 & MJPEG, and an on-board memory card slot that supports MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC and gives extra storage space.
With a weather-proof housing rate of IP6K9K/IP68 and a vandal-proof housing rate of IK10 the camera is protected from harsh conditions. It also has a working temperature of -40°C ~ 70°C and a de-icing function wither internal heating glass making it suitable for any climate.
Armed with built-in IR illuminators, the MD8564-EH is able to provide a great quality image in complete darkness for up to 30m. It is also able to provide a reliable recording during all kinds of movement that the vehicle may make, whether that be vibrations, shock or electromagnetic interference.
This camera is powered by PoE with a maximum power consumption of 10W (IR on), 5.7W (IR off). The heater is powered by a 24V DC power supply with a maximum power consumption of 50W.
